Why is my policy moving to SafePoint?
SafePoint has entered into an agreement to assume policies from two insolvent carriers, Access Home Insurance and State National Fire. This agreement provides customers of those companies a new carrier and a guaranteed renewal of their policy.
What action do I need to take?
You do not need to take any action to facilitate moving your policy. You will receive a renewal from SafePoint 30 – 60 days in advance of your renewal date. Your renewal will include an invoice so if you pay the policy yourself, simply make the payment.
How can I make a payment?
Payments can be mailed directly to SafePoint, PO Box 290119, Tampa, FL 33687. To make payment via credit card or e-check please call us at 855-243-9740.
What if my mortgage company pays my policy?
A copy of your policy will be sent to the mortgage company
What should I do if I have a claim?
As part of the agreement to assume the policies, SafePoint is responsible for all claims occurring on or after December 1, 2021. If your claim occurred on or after December 1, 2021, please contact SafePoint directly at 855-252-4615 (855-CLAIM15). If your claim occurred before December 1, 2021, please contact the Louisiana Insurance Guarantee Association at 1-225-277-7151.
